Michael Mull (MRM) is committed to making this site usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. It's designed and tested to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA — the standard referenced by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 508. If anything here is hard to use, tell me and I'll fix it.
Conformance target
The goal is conformance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. This site has been through a deliberate pass covering color contrast, keyboard operability, focus visibility, semantic structure, and motion — verified with an automated axe-core audit plus manual keyboard testing.
What's been done
- Color contrast. Text, links, and interface elements meet the WCAG AA ratios, verified by measurement and by an automated audit that reports zero contrast violations.
- Keyboard access. Everything is reachable and operable by keyboard, in order, with a clearly visible focus outline.
- Structure & landmarks. Every page has a “Skip to main content” link,
proper
nav/main/footerlandmarks, and a sensible heading order. - Motion. Animations respect your system “reduce motion” setting; decorative elements are hidden from screen readers.
- Not color-alone. No information is conveyed by color by itself, and there is no flashing content or auto-playing audio.
- Readable & resizable. Text can be zoomed and the layout reflows on small screens without loss of content.
Known limitations
I'm one person and I'm honest about it: while I've done a thorough pass and the automated audit is clean, no site is ever perfectly accessible, and I haven't completed a full audit with every screen reader and assistive device. If you hit a barrier I missed, it's a priority fix, not an afterthought.
